Things have been pretty miserable on the other side of that window these past few days; if you dared to look out beyond the glass over the past 24 hours, for instance, then you were sure to be treated to drizzle, grey cloud, chilly winds and a thin, sodden veil of rain that has all but chased away the Mediterranean sun w
e’ve been enjoying this whole last week. Has our summer peaked too soon? Knowing me, I’ll still get sunburnt regardless.
Anyway, at least this gives us a damn good excuse to kick back, stay inside and enjoy the phenomenally impressive tide of games that have been rolling our way since Christmas; a night in with the likes of Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain and Bioshock 2? Yes please. It’s just a shame that they’re being somewhat over-shadowed by the likes of the 3DS, Project Natal and the imminent E3 expo, really; I mean, with the silver lining of the conference so close, all eyes are firmly riveted on the horizon. Are we never content with what we have? Well, Winston Churchill once stated that, “I am easily satisfied with the very best”, and - to me - that just about says it all.
